We had a total of 16 alumni join the UWCSEA event, including families with young children as well as one alumnus who is exploring school options for his granddaughter.

An unforgettable Mid-Autumn Festival evening celebration with fellow Harvard alumni, their families and friends, and filled with colourful mooncakes, delicious local dinner dishes, traditional peranakan snacks, a quiz, engaging DIY lantern-making activity, and a relaxing post-drizzle river stroll.

Sumar, CID Executive Director, on “The Future of Global Development and Prosperity: A Discussion with Harvard Center for International Development Leadership”.
Harvard does not belong to America but our world. As the world grapples with rising inequality, political fragility, and a rapidly changing global economy, the Harvard CID is leading a bold rethinking of what development means and how to achieve it.

Harvard alumni enjoyed an exclusive tasting at the private office bar of Brown-Forman, a family-owned global spirits company with over 150 years of history in whiskey making. Brown-Forman raised expectations of sherry cask whiskey with richly matured aged whiskey from Woodford Reserve and The Glendronach, including a 29YO Single Cask, and other surprise drams. The event proved to be an evening of merriment and discovery for all Harvard alumni who attended.
The Harvard Club of Singapore’s H-Grill 2025 BBQ brought together incoming students, alumni, and friends for an evening of relaxed conversation and new connections. Held in a casual outdoor setting, the event delivered on its goal: helping students meet someone new before heading to Cambridge. With laughter, shared stories, and the warmth of community, H-Grill 2025 was a heartfelt send-off — and the beginning of friendships that will continue in Harvard Yard and beyond.

On 27 May 2025, we wrapped up the 2024-2025 run of the mentorship program with a talk on personal branding for college students. 50 participants took part in an interactive session with Brenda Bence (MBA 1991) to learn concrete steps on how to stand out and take charge of building a professional path.

Our alumnus Chuck Cannon, captivated attendees with insights into tree intelligence, communication, and resilience. Cannon’s unique perspective—”thinking like a tree”—revealed forests as dynamic, interconnected communities. Perfect weather, great company and some pretty good games of beach volleyball! The Harvard Club invited all Ivy Leaguers and their guests to the FOC beach club on
Palawan beach in Sentosa. We had a great afternoon of drinks, snacks and volleyball with our new friends from various clubs.
We had a remarkable event co-hosted with the Fudan University Alumni Association Singapore, where attendees were immersed in the rich world of Chinese tea culture.

The Harvard Club of Singapore’s Annual Dinner 2025, held on 20 February at One Farrer Hotel, was a successful one with more than 130 alumni and guests in attendance. The highlight of the evening was the presence of our distinguished Guest of Honour, Singapore’s Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) Gan Kim Yong.

Seven Ivy League schools descended on SICC’s bowling alley to compete in our first-ever Ivy Bowl bowling competition. Harvard and Cornell emerged the top teams in their respective round robin brackets and played each other in the finals, with Harvard emerging victorious: 114 to 98!
