National Gallery Singapore Private Tour: Into the Modern: Impressionism from the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston

We sincerely thank Christopher Low (HBS AMP’16) for his tremendous efforts in collaborating with the National Gallery to host our alumni to a private and exclusive tour of National Gallery Singapore’s Into the Modern: Impressionism from the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston exhibition.

Guided by the Gallery’s two seasoned docents, our attendees enjoyed an enlightening and engaging journey into Impressionism — discovering how the movement captured a world on the brink of modernity, transforming light, color, landscape, and everyday life into art that continues to resonate deeply today.

Our alumni were fortunate to explore this landmark exhibition at the Gallery — the largest French-Impressionist showcase ever held in Southeast Asia — that brings together over 100 masterpieces by 25 of the movement’s leading artists, including Claude Monet, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Édouard Manet, Paul Cézanne, Edgar Degas and many others.

This private event had indeed offered our alumni a unique opportunity to appreciate up close a world-class exhibition in an intimate setting, reconnect with fellow alumni, and immerse themselves in the brilliance of Impressionist works during an inspiring afternoon.
