On the evening of 5 July, the Harvard Club of Singapore hosted its summer send-off BBQ — H-Grill 2025 — bringing together members of the Harvard community for an evening of connection and camaraderie.
Held at an alum’s home, the event welcomed 36 attendees, including students who will be entering College, GSD, HGSE, HKS and GSAS in the fall. We also welcomed postdoctoral researchers, recent graduates, and visitors from the Philippines and US, including Angelina Jao, President of the Harvard Club of Maryland.
The atmosphere was relaxed and informal, but the goal was intentional: to help every guest meet someone new — someone they could look forward to seeing again in Cambridge. Judging by the lively conversations, exchanged contacts, and shared laughs, H-Grill 2025 achieved exactly that. New friendships were formed, and a strong sense of community took root before anyone even set foot on campus.
A heartfelt thank you to all who attended — and especially to our hosts and volunteers who made it possible. Here’s to new beginnings, lasting connections, and the exciting road to Harvard!
