In celebration of International Women’s Day 2019, The Private Museum (TPM) is pleased to present From Lost Roots to Urban Meadows by Singapore-based artists, Madhvi Subrahmanian and Nandita Mukand. As part of TPM’s Women Artists series, this joint exhibition follows the most recent developments of the artists’ practices, featuring installation and sculptural works informed by their ongoing explorations into nature and how it responds to our everyday life in the city.

DIM SUM LUNCH AND TREETOP HIKE 2019
(HARVARD/COLUMBIA)
Come join fellow Harvard alums and Columbia alums for a dim sum lunch at the Singapore Island Country Club followed by an approximate one hour hike over Singapore’s famous Tree Top Walk, a 250m long suspension bridge between the two highest points in MacRitchie. From the bridge, enjoy a beautiful view of the nature reserve and the waters of Upper Peirce Reservoir. This hike isn’t recommended for children under the age of 10 or for people who are afraid of heights/monkeys.

Date: Sunday, May 5, 2019

Time: 12pm-2pm for lunch, followed by the hike (approximately 1.5 hours)

Venue: Singapore Island Country Club’s Silk restaurant, 180 Island Club Road, Singapore 578774

Cost: Approximately $30 per person for lunch. The hike is free.

Dress Code For Lunch: No tank tops, short shorts, sports tights, or slippers/flip flops.

Dress Code For Hike: Sneakers/hiking sneakers are required. Please wear comfortable clothing. Be sure to bring a hat, sun block and a water bottle.

If preferred, people can come for just the lunch or the hike.

WINE TASTING @ PARK90
WITH COLUMBIA AND PENN
|
Come explore a portfolio of 5 wines of different grape varietals at Park90 in the Regent Hotel. Champagne is grower champagne. Red is Bordeaux and Rhône. White is burgundy and Sauvignon blanc. All wines are rated 90+ points by Robert Parker. This is a joint event with Alumni clubs of Columbia and Penn. Come catch up with old friends and make new ones while enjoying some fine wine.

Cost will be $70 nett per person, which includes all the wines for tasting.
