Dear Members and Alumni,
I first wanted to thank everyone who was able to come to our Annual Dinner on November 10th for helping to make it a success. Our club is only as successful as the engagement of our alumni and members and our community make it; and the sold-out evening with the attendance of DPM Lawrence Wong are attestations to that.
We hope to see you all again next year and for our AGM as well in March 2023!!
Social evenings continue as we move rapidly towards the close of this calendar year, with a 150-200-person strong joint university Thanksgiving dinner at the end of November and a cocktail gathering held jointly with the HBS Club on December 1st which was also well attended.
We have one more key event coming up: two important and senior faculty members are coming through Singapore to meet our alumni on December 12th: Vice Provost of International affairs Mark Eliot and Prof James Robson of East Asian Languages and Civilizations. Please mark your diary for them, more details to follow.
Again, I urge all and any of you who have ideas for us at HCS and / or would like to get more involved to reach out to me or any of my fellow committee members. I feel we have strong momentum right now and I would love to have more of you actively engaged with us: the Harvard Club of Singapore is YOUR club.

Both senior faculty are extremely focused on the Asia regions, and are keen to meet the local alumni and talk about scholarship and research in ASEAN as well as regional engagement and information and updates about Harvard in general.
