SUMMARY:Workshop: Build your own AI agents
DESCRIPTION:The Harvard Club of Singapore\, in collaboration with the Old Rafflesians’ Association (ORA)\, invites you to a hands-on Saturday afternoon workshop on building your own AI agents. This is a working session\, not a talk nor a demo — each participant will leave having their own AI agents for personal use. \n\n\n\nOver two hours\, we’ll cover what an AI agent actually is\, the small set of patterns that make agents useful in real work\, and how to compose them safely. Then we build together: from a blank slate\, through prompts and tools\, to working agents each participant can take home and continue developing. \n\n\n\nCapacity is deliberately capped to keep the session useful\, with a comfortable troubleshooter-to-participant ratio. Trained troubleshooters will be on hand throughout to help you build\, debug\, and improve your agents throughout the session. \n\n\n\nWho this is for: alumni who want practical fluency rather than more theory. No prior coding experience is required\, but you should be comfortable navigating your own laptop. \n\n\n\nPrerequisite: a paid Claude Pro subscription (S$25/month). Prepare in advance\, or we’ll help you set it up during the session. Bring: a laptop with at least two hours of power (charging points are limited). Provided: Wi-Fi\, coffee & tea\, and refreshments. \n\n\n\nWhen: Saturday\, 5 September 2026 — doors 2:30pm\, session 3:00–5:00pm. \n\n\n\nWhere: Stamford Training Room\, Blk B 1st Floor\, Raffles Institution\, 1 Raffles Institution Lane\, Singapore 575954. \n\n\n\nRegister by Friday\, 31 July 2026. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMember’s price is subsidised. To access the member only price\, join us as a member today. \n\n\n\n\nBecome a Member Today\n\n\n\n\nPlease make sure you are qualified to buy your ticket. Tickets are not refundable. If you are not an alumnus\, we will cancel your ticket purchase and we will not refund you the purchase price.
