Masterclass on Street Photography – Joint event with U Chicago Alumni
March 7, 2020 @ 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm SMT

Travel Photography: Capturing the Moment
Have you ever been travelling in an exotic country on holiday and wished you could make better images? This seminar will help you “see” pictures when you are on the street or travelling. Former Lonely Planet photographer Steve Golden will share techniques for photographing people, working with natural light, and capturing a decisive moment.
Part one of this workshop will take place in Steve’s Chinatown home studio, where he will use his new photography book Faces of Yangon to demonstrate techniques. Part two will be outside in historic Chinatown, where attendees can practice what they have learned in real situations, with the photographer on hand to answer questions.
We will be hosting a joint event along with the Chicago Booth Alumni Club of Singapore.
This course would normally cost S$100.
Fee: S$45, includes 3 hour workshop and shooting session, plus a hardcover edition of Faces of Yangon.
Gear: any camera but ideally with changeable lenses
RSVP by Email to Steve Golden
Level: any level attendee is welcome
