Alumni Volunteering Event
It’s The Yale Club of Singapore Day of Service event, and they’ve generously invited The Harvard Club of Singapore to join in. Come be part of a meaningful volunteering session with Re:Nue!
Re:Nue, which is the social enterprise arm of The Salvation Army. By re-using, recycling, restoring and selling donations in-kind, Re:Nue generates income and provide holistic care to the community (https://www.salvationarmy.org.sg/wwd-renue/).
Attire: Strictly long pants with covered shoes
Task: Sorting donated goods into categories such as clothes, toys, etc., or any other ad-hoc duties
If you have any preloved items (clothing, shoes, bags, toys, etc.) you wish to donate, please bring them along on the day as well.
Please note that all volunteers need to be at least 16 years old. The maximum capacity is 20 paxs. Feel free to join us even if you cannot make the full 3 hours; at least 1.5 hours would be great. Harvard alumni and their guests are welcome to join.
