Our Club’s tenth anniversary dinner was a huge success of celebration and participation. Minister Vivian Balakrishnan gave a thoughtful address that touched on current geopolitical issues and Southeast Asia’s (and specifically Singapore’s) strategic position. Dr Kanwaljit Soin built upon this in her speech as the HCS Fellow 2026: the importance of humanity, society, and compassionate and inclusive leadership. She was joined as well by our previous Fellows: Dr Noeleen Heyzer, Prof Wang Gungwu, T. Sasitharan, and Dr Ang Swee Chai.
Over 150 alumni and friends joined us that evening, and the festivities continued post dinner with a lucky draw and dancing led by talented DJ Jared Kong.
