Harvard Club of Singapore – Call for Nominations for 2026 Election
We’re opening nominations for four seats on the HCS Board. Two of these seats are the Vice President and Treasurer officer roles (each officer also serves as a Board member). The other two seats are for Ordinary Board Members.
🗓️ Nomination deadline: 11:59 pm (SGT) on Sunday, 14 December 2025
How our staggered 9‑seat Board works
The Club maintains a 9‑member Board for continuity and renewal. Rather than electing all nine seats at once, we use a staggered election system:
- Each year, a subset of seats is up for election (typically 4 in one year and 5 in the next).
- Officer roles (e.g., President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary) are Board seats and are counted within the nine.
- This year (2025), four seats are contested: Vice President, Treasurer, and two Ordinary Board Member seats.
This model ensures experienced members remain on the Board while creating regular opportunities for new leaders to serve.
Positions in this election
- Vice President — Officer & Board member
- Treasurer — Officer & Board member
- Ordinary Board Member (2 seats)
