A cozy group of alumni had a lovely evening with Vice Provost Mark Eliot and Prof James Robson that started as a discussion which morphed into cocktails and then finally a chicken rice dinner. Mark Eliot likened his role at times as Harvard’s “Chief International Officer”; and clearly both these senior faculty members were on a mission to engage and connect with the international alumni and specifically those of us in Southeast Asia. As the Director for the Asia Centre, James Robson spoke very specifically of that intention.
