We Need Mentors, Do Sign Up!

The HBS Club of Singapore is looking for Alumni across the HBS, Harvard and LSE Alumni community who are able:

•To contribute ~12 hours in total over 8 months to inspire and mentor a diverse group of young leaders in Singapore
•To give back to the community by sharing career and professional insights with 6 mentees who are just about to start their own path and eager to build mentor relationships

Calling all alumni to sign up and be part of the 2018-2019 Mentorship Program!

In 2018, we reached more than 200 students, across 7 educational institutions. This year we are looking to double that number. We aspire to increase the impact and outreach to 400 students! We need your help to make this vision come alive! Please respond by 20 August 2018 by clicking here.

The HBSCS Mentorship program entails:

•Structured sessions – kick-off event, 1-2 webinars and a capstone event
•Cohort mentoring sessions – 4 mentor-mentee with supporting topic guides
•2 Alumni mentors are paired with 6 students from diverse backgrounds

Timelines:

•Aug 2018: Mentor sign up
•Nov 2018: Kick off event to introduce groups and set norms
•Nov 2018 – Apr 2019: Groups to meet for 4 sessions at your convenience
•May 2019: Program wrap with capstone event fully organized by students.

Schools we work with: Polytechnics – NYP, NP, RP, SP, TP. Universities – NTU, SIT

Kuriakin graduated from Harvard College in 2015. He is an innovation developer, software architect and product manager who has led the development of disruptive technologies. Currently, he is a founding member of the Disruptive Innovation Team at Standard Chartered. At HUAAS, he leads the technology subcommittee and co-founded the Harvard Prize Book initiative.

  • Hi Kuriakin,

    Is it possible for alumni from other schools – e.g. INSEAD to participate in the program as well? I know someone who’s interested. She’s a certified career coach as well.
